Operations / DevOps / SRE Manager

About the role

Lead the Operations, DevOps, or SRE team to ensure production systems are stable, secure, scalable, and highly available. You will manage production operations, incident response, problem management, capacity planning, change management, and disaster recovery while establishing and improving service reliability metrics (SLI/SLO/SLA), monitoring, alerting, and observability practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Operations, DevOps, or SRE team to ensure production systems are stable, secure, scalable, and highly available
• Manage production operations, incident response, problem management, capacity planning, change management, and disaster recovery
• Establish and improve service reliability metrics (SLI/SLO/SLA), monitoring, alerting, and observability practices
• Drive cloud infrastructure design, optimization, and security across AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, or similar platforms
• Lead CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automation, and platform engineering initiatives to improve operational efficiency
• Manage Kubernetes, Linux, networking, databases, middleware, and cloud-native infrastructure
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Security, and Product teams on architecture reviews, release readiness, and operational improvements
• Develop team capabilities through hiring, coaching, performance management, and technical leadership
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and business continuity requirements

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines
• 5+ years of experience in Operations, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering
• 2+ years of people management experience, preferably leading teams of 5+ engineers
• Proven experience managing production environments and handling major incidents
• Strong Linux administration, system troubleshooting, and networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, Load Balancing)
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Alibaba Cloud
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and cloud-native technologies
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Argo CD)
• Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, Infrastructure as Code, and automation development
• Proficiency in Shell scripting and Python or Go
