Operations Director

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to oversee day to day business operations and help strengthen processes that support the company's continued growth.

This role will involve working closely with senior leadership to manage operational priorities, improve internal workflows, and ensure the team has the resources and guidance needed to operate effectively.

The ideal candidate should have experience managing complex operations, leading cross functional teams, and addressing business challenges in a pragmatic and efficient manner. A background in financial services, fintech, or technology driven companies is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day to day business operations, ensuring activities are conducted efficiently and in accordance with company policy.

Work directly with senior leadership to develop operational priorities and execute business plans.

Manage and support department managers to ensure clear responsibilities, accountability, and consistent performance.

Review existing processes, identify operational gaps, and implement improvements where necessary.

Develop operational procedures, internal reporting standards, and performance indicators.

Monitor departmental budgets, operating expenses, and resource allocation.

Coordinate with finance, technology, compliance, human resources, and other departments to meet operational needs.

Identify potential operational risks and collaborate with relevant teams to establish practical controls.

Oversee supplier relationships, service agreements, and third party operational performance.

Prepare operational reports and brief senior management on performance, challenges, and recommended actions.

Support business expansion, new initiatives, and organizational change while maintaining operational stability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field.

12 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 4 years in operations management or leadership positions.

Experience in financial services, fintech, digital assets, or technology companies is preferred.

Experience managing multiple departments or cross-functional teams.

Deep understanding of operational planning, budgeting, performance management, and process improvement.

Experience in developing internal policies, improving business processes, and managing organizational change.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently, make sound business decisions, and communicate effectively with senior leadership.

Familiarity with operational risk management and regulatory requirements is preferred.

Reporting Structure

The Chief Operating Officer will report to the Chief Operating Officer or another designated member of the senior management team.

• This position will work closely with department heads and senior management to ensure operational priorities are aligned with business objectives.

Pay: $210,000.00 - $320,000.00 per year
