Our FM Operations Audit is core to this: a practical, fully-delivered review of how a building's FM operation runs - across people, process, technology, culture, and the building and compliance side - resulting in a condition and gap register, a statutory compliance dashboard, and a prioritised action plan the client's leadership can act on.

Job Summary The Operational Excellence Executive plays a hands-on role in supporting Fora's process improvement and operational efficiency efforts. This role assists in mapping workflows, gathering data, tracking KPIs, and coordinating small-to-mid scale improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Support

• Assist in identifying inefficiencies and bottlenecks in existing workflows.
• Support the rollout of process improvement initiatives as directed by management.
• Help document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure they stay updated.

Process & Quality Monitoring

• Collect and analyze operational data to track performance against KPIs.
• Monitor day-to-day compliance with company policies and quality standards.
• Flag deviations or issues to the Operations Manager for action.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Liaise with HR, Admin, and Finance teams to gather information needed for operational projects.
• Support scheduling, follow-ups, and documentation for cross-departmental initiatives.

Project Support

• Assist in coordinating assigned tasks within larger operational projects.
• Track timelines and deliverables, and update project trackers/reports.
• Escalate risks or delays to senior team members.

Reporting

• Prepare routine operational reports and dashboards for management review.
• Support data compilation for presentations and reviews.

Tools & Technology

• Use process-mapping and data tools to support improvement work.
• Stay informed on relevant tools and industry practices, sharing insights with the team.

Required Skills:

• Good analytical skills; comfortable working with data and spreadsheets.
• Basic understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement concepts.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple small tasks/projects.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in operations, process improvement, or a similar support role.
• Exposure to Lean/Six Sigma (certification a plus, not required).

Work Flexibility

• Standard office hours, with some flexibility depending on project needs.

Expected Salary (Malaysia)

• MYR 4,000–5,000 (negotiable based on experience)
• Performance-based bonuses may apply.

Travel Expectations

• Occasional local travel to project sites or client offices, as needed.

Technical Familiarity

• Excel/Google Sheets, basic data visualization tools, Microsoft Office.
