Operations Executive 2C (Home Delivery)

About the role

TheLorry is seeking an Operations Executive (Home Delivery) to join our dynamic team at our Glenmarie, Selangor facility. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of our home delivery operations. As Operations Executive, you will be responsible for coordinating, monitoring and optimising delivery routes, schedules and customer satisfaction within our growing logistics network.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage home delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customers
• Coordinate with drivers, merchants and customers to optimise delivery operations and resolve any scheduling conflicts
• Track delivery performance metrics and analyse operational data to identify areas for improvement
• Manage customer inquiries and complaints related to deliveries, ensuring swift resolution and customer satisfaction
• Support the planning and optimisation of delivery routes to reduce costs and improve efficiency
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, driver performance and vehicle maintenance schedules
• Communicate with stakeholders regarding operational updates, challenges and performance outcomes

About you

• Diploma/Degree in relevant fields
• Proven experience in logistics operations, home delivery coordination or warehouse management, preferably within the logistics sector
• Fresh graduates may apply
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in using logistics management software and Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Google Docs) applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed operational decisions
• Knowledge of local Kuala Lumpur/Selangor area and traffic patterns is advantageous
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy in records and reporting
