About the Role

You will be involved in the end-to-end processes of the merchant lifecycle management from onboarding to transaction monitoring and dispute handling while ensuring compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Execute merchant onboarding activities, including document review, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and system setup in line with internal SOPs

• Monitor daily transactions across payment channels including but not limited to FPX, DuitNow QR, eWallets, and card payments; flag and escalate any irregularities

• Support dispute and chargeback processes, ensuring cases are handled within SLA timelines

• Handle Level 2 (L2) merchant inquiries, investigating and resolving issues beyond first-line customer support

• Work closely with internal teams (Compliance, Finance, Risk, Tech) and external partners (banks, payment providers) to resolve operational matters

• Maintain accurate merchant records for re-KYC and periodic reviews

• Assist in preparing operational and regulatory reports

• Initiate and contribute to business process improvement activities within the department and organisation

Responsibilities

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field

• Minimum 2 years of experience in payments, fintech, or banking operations (fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply)

• Basic understanding of AML/CFT is an advantage

• Strong attention to detail and a process-driven mindset

• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving fintech environment
