Operations Executive

About the role

We are an established self-adhesive label manufacturer looking for a hands-on Operations Executive to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys production planning, factory operations, problem-solving and coordinating people. You will work closely with Production, QC, Warehouse, Graphic and Sales teams to ensure customer orders are produced correctly and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production planning and job schedules.
• Monitor production progress, manpower and machine capacity.
• Conduct regular factory floor checks and follow up on outstanding jobs.
• Ensure operators follow job sheets, SOPs and quality requirements.
• Coordinate raw materials and production requirements.
• Work closely with QC to monitor quality, rejection and wastage.
• Identify production delays, quality issues and operational problems and ensure timely corrective action.
• Monitor machine condition, downtime and maintenance requirements.
• Prepare simple production and operational reports.
• Support management in improving productivity, quality and factory operations.

About you

• Diploma/Degree in Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Business or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years' manufacturing/production experience is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Printing, label or packaging experience is an added advantage.
• Basic Microsoft Excel/computer skills.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, organised and willing to work hands-on on the factory floor.
• Able to take ownership and follow through on assigned tasks.
