Operations Executive

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to support daily school bus operations. This role involves supporting transport operations, managing parents/school enquiries and ensuring smooth coordination with schools, parents, and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Site Leader in ensuring all school bus services run on schedule and in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Assist in route planning and scheduling to optimise service efficiency and passenger coverage
• Monitor real-time bus movements, pick-ups, and drop-offs using the Vsmart system; proactively identify delays and deviations, and escalate issues promptly for follow-up action
• Assist the Site Leader in coordinating responses to transport contingencies and incidents, ensuring swift resolution with minimal disruption to service
• Act as a liaison between schools, parents, drivers, and internal teams to address and resolve transport-related queries and concerns promptly
• Assist the Site Leader in preparing and submitting accurate operational reports to schools and/or CDGB management within stipulated timelines
• Support adherence to all regulatory requirements, company policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Maintain professional and clear communication at all times to uphold service standards and client satisfaction
• Support the Site Lead in managing safe and efficient bus bay operations, including vehicle flow control
• Ensure safe and orderly boarding and disembarkation of students at all times
