About the Role

Algoptions Technology Private Limited is looking for a Trading Operations Executive to monitor client trading activities, positions, P&L and account-related activities during market hours.

The role involves closely monitoring live positions and identifying situations that may require attention or escalation.

Candidates with good knowledge of the Indian stock market, Futures and Options will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor clients' live positions and trading activities.
• Monitor open positions, P&L, margin and available funds.
• Keep track of buying and selling positions in Futures and Options.
• Monitor Call and Put positions, strikes and expiry.
• Identify unusual positions, large losses or unexpected trading activity.
• Monitor positions and ensure they remain within predefined limits.
• Monitor margin requirements and alert the team when additional margin or action may be required.
• Keep track of hedged and unhedged positions.
• Monitor overall client exposure and risk.
• Identify any position or trading activity that requires immediate attention.
• Coordinate with the trading and operations teams when issues are identified.
• Escalate important trading or position-related issues promptly.
• Maintain daily monitoring and activity reports.
• Maintain proper records of issues and actions taken.
• Support the team in day-to-day trading operations.

Market Knowledge

Good knowledge of the following will be an advantage:

• Excel
• Indian Stock Market
• Equity trading
• Futures
• Options

• Ability to monitor multiple positions carefully.
• Ability to identify unusual or unexpected activities.

• Basic Excel knowledge.
• Willingness to learn trading and market-related activities.

Experience

Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in any of the following areas will be preferred:

Candidates with practical knowledge of Options and live trading positions will be preferred.

Working Hours

8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

The candidate must be comfortable working during Indian market hours and continuously monitoring live trading activities.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or any related field.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is alert, responsible.

The candidate should be able to understand what is happening in a client's account, monitor positions and P&L, identify anything unusual and quickly inform the appropriate team.

Good market knowledge is preferred, but candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn can also be considered.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
