About the role

We are seeking an Operations Executive to join our team at our Tuas West Region facility. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing and optimising our operational processes. As Operations Executive, you will be responsible for coordinating machine operations, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. This position is integral to our commitment to operational excellence and will directly impact our ability to deliver consistent results for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of manufacturing and refrigeration equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime
• Monitor machine operators and provide guidance to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and safety protocols
• Track production schedules and work with the team to meet output targets and delivery deadlines
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify maintenance requirements and potential issues
• Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment performance, and operational metrics
• Implement and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring all team members comply with health and safety regulations
• Liaise with maintenance teams to coordinate repairs, servicing, and preventative maintenance activities
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Report on operational performance and highlight any concerns or achievements to senior management
• Support training and development initiatives for machine operators and team members

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in operations management or machine operations within a manufacturing or logistics environment
• Strong knowledge of machine operation, maintenance scheduling, and equipment troubleshooting
• Experience with production planning, inventory management, and operational metrics
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
• Demonstrated leadership ability and experience supervising or coordinating teams
• A commitment to health and safety standards and experience implementing safety protocols
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments
• Proficiency in using relevant software systems and data recording tools
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or certificate in mechanical engineering, operations management, or a related field are preferred
