Operations Executive (Coffee Roastery)

Position Summary

We are looking for an Operations Executive to support our daily production at our warehouse, assist in coffee roasting operations, inventory management, quality control, and overall operational coordination to ensure smooth workflow and consistent deliverables to customers.

Employment Details

Work Location:           Bandar Pinggiran Subang, Selangor

Working Hours:          9:30am-6:30pm (Monday-Friday)

                                    9:30am-12:30pm (Saturday)

Employment Type:     Contract

Salary:                         RM2,200.00

Key Responsibilities

1. Packing

· Weighing and Measuring: Accurately measure coffee beans or ground coffee to match exact product specifications

· Packaging and Sealing: Operate packing machines or manually fill and seal bags, pouches, or containers to lock in freshness.

· Labeling: Apply correct brand stickers, weight, roast date, and batch number labels to finished goods.

· Quality Control: Inspect packages and products for defects, leaks, or damage before distribution.

2. Coffee Roasting Support

· Assist Senior Roaster in daily roasting production.

· Prepare green beans for roasting according to production schedule.

· Ensure roasted beans are packed, labeled, and stored properly.

· Maintain consistency and quality standards for all roasted coffee.

3. Production & Inventory Management

· Assist Operations Supervisor / Senior Roaster to monitor green beans, roasted beans and packaging stock levels.

· Update daily incoming and outgoing stock.

· Organize warehouse and storage areas for efficiency and cleanliness.

4. Operations Coordination

· Coordinate daily operational workflow between roasting, packing, and delivery.

· Handle order preparation and fulfillment for e-Commerce and Wholesale customers.

· Assist in scheduling deliveries and logistics arrangements.

· Support operational improvements to increase productivity and reduce errors.

· Ensure all SOPs are followed properly.

5. Machine & Workspace Maintenance

· Perform basic cleaning and maintenance for roasting equipment and other coffee machineries.

· Ensure roasting area, warehouse, and workstations remain clean and organized.

· Report technical issues or machine abnormalities immediately.

· Assist with troubleshooting minor operational issues.

6. Quality Control

· Conduct basic quality checking for roasted beans and packed products.

· Ensure packaging quality and labeling accuracy.

· Ensure all operational tasks are following the HALAL SOPs.

7. Administrative & Reporting

· Update production logs and inventory records.

· Collaborate with other team members on stock purchase when necessary.

Additional Responsibilities

· The employee may be required to undertake additional duties and responsibilities not specifically outlined in this job scope, as instructed by management when necessary.

· Responsibilities may evolve from time to time in accordance with business and operational requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

· Diploma or equivalent qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Logistics, or related disciplines.

· Minimum 1 year of experience in food manufacturing, production, warehouse operations, or inventory management. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

· Basic understanding of food safety or HALAL requirements is an added advantage.

· Good physical fitness with the ability to stand for extended periods and handle moderately heavy loads.

· Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management skills.

· Willing to work overtime when required to meet operational demands.
