Operations Executive [Permanent Afternoon Shift]

Job Objective

• To manage and ensure the smooth running of Pandan Collection operations during the mid shift, with a focus on collection activities, coordination, and issue resolution.
• Oversee MRF and Envotek mid-shift operations and ensure operational continuity.
• Operate the weighbridge and coordinate with MRF plant operations during the mid shift.
• Coordinate ad-hoc and urgent recovery services (Engineering / MRF Plant).
• Oversee the safety and operations of Pandan facilities during the assigned shift.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage Collection operations at Pandan during the mid shift.
• Monitor daily operational performance and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Attend to duty phone calls and respond promptly to operational issues.
• Arrange for support, manpower, or assistance when required.
• Coordinate with drivers, supervisors, and relevant teams to resolve operational challenges.
• Prepare and submit basic operational reports and updates.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational guidelines.
• Manage daily weighbridge and MRF plant operations during the assigned shift.
• Conduct waste audits and generate reports (bulky waste and unacceptable waste).
• Conduct inventory checks and stocktakes for shift reporting and handover.

Key Job-Specific Competency Requirements

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (basic data entry, tracking, and reporting).
• Ability to understand and manage various Collection operations.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently during the assigned shift.
• Clear communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Responsible, reliable, and able to handle pressure during operational issues.

Additional Information

This is a permanent mid-shift role. Standard working hours are 2:00pm to 11:00pm (or as assigned by operational requirements).
