Operations Head

About the role

As the Operations Head for TL Mabuhay Driving Lesson Academy, you will direct and oversee all daily branch, classroom, and practical driving field operations across all locations. Your role involves managing fleet operations, including regular vehicle maintenance, fuel management, safety inspections, and strict adherence to Land Transportation Office (LTO) equipment and vehicle standards. You will optimize instructor scheduling, student lesson bookings, and course delivery to ensure high capacity utilization, minimal vehicle downtime, and excellent customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage fleet operations, including regular vehicle maintenance, fuel management, and safety inspections
• Ensure strict adherence to Land Transportation Office (LTO) equipment and vehicle standards
• Optimize instructor scheduling, student lesson bookings, and course delivery
• Establish and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all branches
• Supervise branch managers and track key operational performance indicators
• Lead with a safety-first and operational excellence mindset
• Drive regional growth by successfully launching and scaling new branch locations and practical driving sites
• Resolve operational bottlenecks, scheduling conflicts, and emergency fleet issues
• Foster a culture of discipline, efficiency, and accountability
• Work closely with HR, Accounting, and Internal Audit leadership to support overall company objectives

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• At least 4-5 years of progressive operations experience
• Minimum of 3 years in a managerial role overseeing multi-branch or multi-site operations
• Direct background in fleet management, logistics, transportation, or vocational/educational service networks is highly preferred
• Deep familiarity with LTO regulations and local traffic safety compliance
• Exceptional leadership capabilities
• Data-driven decision-making skills
• Superior organizational skills to effectively manage cross-branch staff and daily physical assets
