About the role

As Operations Lead, you drive a high-performing Operations team building payment and POS solutions for the hospitality sector. Reporting directly to the COO, you own day-to-day operations, process optimization, system integrations, team performance, and collaboration with Sales, Support, and external partners.

In a scale-up, leading means more than managing: you set the direction, build the structure, and jump in where needed. You spot inefficiencies, innovate, and turn data into decisions. AI isn't a buzzword, it's a tool you use to build, automate, and improve.

What you'll do

• Lead, coach, and develop the Operations team
• Build and run KPI reporting, turn data into concrete improvement actions
• Design and ship process improvements across the company, often using AI and automation
• Own integrations between internal and external systems (CRM, payment platforms, support tools)
• Manage relationships and negotiations with distributors and partners

Requirements

• 3–5+ years in operations, including time in a leadership role
• Proven track record building and implementing AI-driven solutions
• Experience with system integrations and automated workflows
• AI-first mindset: you default to AI when solving operational problems
• Hands-on process optimization experience in a fast-growing environment
• Strong in KPI reporting and translating data into strategy
• Comfortable negotiating with partners and vendors
• Affinity with fintech, payments, or SaaS is a strong plus
• Fluent in Dutch and English
