Operations Lead

Position Summary

Under the guidance and direction of the Chief Technology, Product & AI Officer, the Operations Lead serves as a key operational partner. The Operations Lead also serves as Scrum Master for the technology and product delivery teams, facilitating sprint ceremonies, maintaining a clear and current backlog with the Product Owner, and removing impediments so work keeps moving. This high-visibility role provides comprehensive operational support with complete discretion and precision. Manages competing priorities, leads operational logistics, and ensures cross-functional execution of key technical initiatives.

Essential Job Functions

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

Operations & Project Tracking: Drive execution across technology and product initiatives, keeping projects on schedule and stakeholders aligned.

Scrum Master & Agile Delivery: Serve as Scrum Master for technology and product teams; facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives; protect the team from mid-sprint disruptions; ensure backlog items are well-defined, prioritized, and estimable; log, escalate, and resolve impediments; and maintain sprint boards, velocity, and burndown reporting as the single source of delivery truth.

Meeting Facilitation & Documentation: Prepare structured agendas, facilitate scrum ceremonies and leadership meetings, capture detailed documentation, and track execution of key decision points and next steps.
