Operations Lead

Schedule: Thursday–Monday | 2:00 PM until close (approximately 9:30 PM)
Hours: Approximately 35–40 hours per week
Weekends: Required

One of our clients in the Philadelphia, PA area is looking for a strong, dependable leader to take ownership of there evening operations and close out the station each night.

This is not a position for someone who needs constant direction. We need a leader who can think on their feet, make sound decisions, hold people accountable, and keep operations running smoothly when the pressure is on. You will manage the back half of the day, working alongside our two day-shift Leaders while taking the lead independently most evenings. From returning drivers and late routes to rescues, van check-ins, and incident management, you will play a critical role in finishing each day strong.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Lead Evening Operations: Take ownership of the station during the afternoon and evening hours, ensuring a smooth and organized close.
• Manage Driver Returns: Oversee returning drivers, route completion, late routes, and rescue coordination.
• Oversee Van Check-In: Ensure vehicles are checked in properly and any damage, issues, or concerns are documented and addressed.
• Handle Incidents: Respond to operational issues calmly, make timely decisions, and escalate matters when appropriate.
• Hold the Team Accountable: Ensure drivers follow established procedures, meet expectations, and maintain professional standards.
• Make Independent Decisions: Solve problems without waiting for someone else to tell you what to do.
• Complete End-of-Day Reporting: Ensure accurate reporting, documentation, and communication with the leadership team.
• Communicate Effectively: Keep the day-shift Leaders informed about outstanding issues, driver concerns, vehicle problems, and operational needs.

Experience: What Matters Most

Previous experience in Amazon DSP operations or logistics is a plus, but it is not required.
