Operations Manager - Industrial Automation & System Integration

Western Michigan | $175,000 - $200,000 Base + 20% Bonus

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers, project managers, and technical leaders.
• Oversee project delivery, execution, and customer satisfaction.
• Drive resource planning, utilization, and workforce allocation.
• Manage project financials, budgets, forecasting, and profitability.
• Support project estimating, pricing, and proposal reviews.
• Grow customer relationships and drive repeat business.
• Develop and mentor team members and future leaders.
• Partner with sales, engineering, and executive leadership teams.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience within system integration, industrial automation, MES, OT, or engineering services.
• Experience leading customer-facing technical teams.
• Strong project, resource, and financial management skills.
• Background with PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, MES, OT, or industrial automation technologies.
• Experience supporting project costing, estimates, proposals, or pricing activities.
• Strong customer relationship and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Open to limited travel.
