Operations Management Trainee

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily production operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and product quality.
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate with the Maintenance Team to ensure equipment is operating at optimum condition.
• Make timely operational decisions, including task reallocation and production rescheduling, when necessary.
• Support the implementation of continuous improvement and 5S/housekeeping initiatives.
• Participate in production planning and ensure smooth workflow across departments.
• Conduct and participate in quality meetings to address production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve production targets and operational excellence.
• Develop leadership skills through coaching, training, and hands-on operational exposure.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or any related Engineering course.
• Licensed Engineer is an advantage.
• Strong leadership potential with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing, packaging, or production environment is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with strong leadership experience (e.g., organizations, internships, or student leadership roles) are encouraged to apply.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules and render extended hours when required.
