Coordinate security coverage, conduct risk assessments, manage incident reporting, and work with law enforcement and emergency responders to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

· Safety & Risk Management: Develop and implement workplace safety procedures, emergency preparedness plans, and risk mitigation strategies. Conduct safety inspections, coordinate training and drills, investigate incidents, and ensure compliance with applicable OSHA, fire, building, and organizational safety requirements.

· Fleet Management: Oversee organizational vehicles, including preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, registrations, insurance, and driver compliance. Monitor fleet utilization, safety, and expenses while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, and cost effectiveness.

· Staff Leadership & Supervision: Directly supervise three employees, establishing clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards. Provide coaching, professional development, scheduling, and cross-training while fostering a culture of teamwork, responsiveness, safety, and operational excellence.

· Budget, Vendor & Operational Oversight: Manage vendor relationships, service agreements, contracts, and operational expenses across facilities, security, safety, and fleet. Support budget development, monitor expenditures, maintain compliance records, and provide regular performance reports and recommendations to the Director of Operations to improve efficiency, reduce risks, and strengthen organizational operations.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in facilities management, business administration, operations, construction management, public administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

· Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in operations, facilities, property management, security, safety, fleet management, or a related field.

· Previous supervisory or management experience required.

· Experience managing vendors, contractors, maintenance activities, and operational budgets.

· Working knowledge of workplace safety, emergency preparedness, building operations, and risk-management practices.

· Experience in a nonprofit, social-services, healthcare, government, church/ministry, or community-service environment is preferred.

· Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond appropriately to urgent operational situations.

· Comfortable working in an environment serving individuals experiencing homelessness and other vulnerable populations.

· Valid driver's license and ability to meet organizational vehicle-insurance requirements.

· Stewardship: Manages organizational facilities, vehicles, equipment, and financial resources responsibly.

· Leadership: Develops staff, builds trust, and creates a culture of responsiveness and continuous improvement.
