Commure

At Commure, we're building the AI Operating System for healthcare, the foundation that defines how care is delivered, documented, and financed. Our platform spans the full care journey: Ambient AI and Dictation eliminating documentation burden at the point of care, intelligent Agents automating patient and revenue workflows, and autonomous RCM processing billions in claims, all on a single AI-native platform integrated with 60+ EHRs.
Healthcare carries a $1 trillion administrative burden and we're at the center of transforming it. Today, 500,000+ clinicians across 500+ healthcare organizations nationwide trust Commure to handle $25B+ in annual claims and support over 200 million patient interactions. Our latest $70M raise at a $7B valuation reflects the confidence the market has placed in this mission. We've also been named to the Fortune Future 50 list and the 2026 AI Breakthrough Awards for “Overall NLP Company of the Year.”
Our team works directly alongside clinicians, not through layers of process, which means the gap between what you build and its impact on patient care is immediate. We move fast, deploy daily, and take full ownership from early thinking to production. If you're energized by hard problems, high stakes, and a team that holds itself to a high bar, you'll find your people here.
The future of healthcare is being built right now. Come deliver this transformation.
About The Role
We’re looking for a builder - someone who loves solving hard operational problems with code, data, and product intuition. You are right for this role if you’re someone who can take an operational workflow, inspect the data, understand the business logic, build and modify tools, evaluate outcomes and ship measurable improvements. Part consultant, part product thinker, part data analyst, you’ll help us automate and scale traditionally manual workflows that underpin healthcare operations - from claim submissions to payment posting.
This role sits at the intersection of product, data, and implementation. You’ll design, test, and operationalize automations across our stack, work hands-on with Product, Engineering teams, and our customers to map and rebuild their workflows, and create systems that scale. You’ll be accountable for outcomes - building the infrastructure, tools, and processes that let our teams and our clients move faster and smarter.
We want people who are excellent operators, strong problem solvers, and comfortable building from scratch.
At Commure, there are no speed limits in your growth. If you show ownership and deliver results, your responsibilities - and impact - will grow rapidly. We value people who move fast, think deeply, take pride in solid execution, and deliver results for our customers.
This full-time position requires working 5 days a week in our Mountain View, CA office.
What You'll Do
<ul>
<li>Own high-impact processes: Own one or more automation surfaces end-to-end: instrumentation, workflow mapping, SQL/data analysis, tool changes, experiment evaluation, rollout, monitoring, and post-launch debugging.</li>
<li>Design and automate workflows: Use SQL, APIs, scripts, and emerging tools (including LLMs and harnesses) to automate manual claim-related workflows and improve scalability</li>
<li>Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Account Management to influence roadmap priorities and scale successful solutions</li>
<li>Analyze and optimize: Build dashboards and reporting pipelines to monitor productivity, quality, and financial outcomes; identify bottlenecks and automate fixes</li>
</ul>
What You Bring
<ul>
<li>2+ years of experience in operations, consulting, or data-heavy roles at a tech company or fast-paced startup
</li>
<li>Strong SQL fluency - comfortable querying, analyzing, and structuring data to drive insights and automation
</li>
<li>Excellent problem-solving and systems-thinking skills; able to diagnose root causes and design scalable solutions
</li>
<li>Proven ability to manage complex projects end-to-end, working autonomously in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
</li>
<li>Bonus: Experience with AI Automation Infrastructure, such as:
</li>
<li>Prompt Iteration
</li>
<li>Evaluations
</li>
<li>Failure Analysis
</li>
<li>Agent Workflows
</li>
<li>Hallucination / Leakage / Overfitting Risks

<li>Human-in-the-Loop Design
</li>
<li>Confidence Thresholds
</li>
<li>Auditability
</li>
<li>Production Monitoring
</li>
<li>Bonus: Experience in healthcare operations, claims, or billing systems
</li>
<li>Bonus: Experience building or integrating workflows via APIs, Python, or web automation tools (Zapier, Retool, custom scripts, etc.)
</li>
<li>Bonus: Experience with agentic workflow development, building orchestration scripts and validation scripts, and working with the cloud
</li>
</ul>
Who You Are
<ul>
<li>You investigate metric drops relentlessly until you've identified a root cause.</li>
<li>You validate dashboard queries before trusting the output.</li>
<li>You work comfortably with raw logs, database records, and edge cases.</li>
<li>You translate domain expert knowledge into scalable automation.</li>
<li>You apply rigorous critical thinking to LLM outputs and build appropriate guardrails.</li>
