Operations Manager Car Rental

Operations Management

• Oversee the daily operations of the car rental business across all branches.
• Ensure smooth coordination between Reservations, Rental Sales, Customer Service, Drivers, Fleet, and Maintenance teams.
• Monitor daily vehicle availability and fleet utilization to maximize revenue.
• Ensure vehicles are delivered and collected on time according to customer requirements.
• Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.

Fleet Management

• Manage the company's vehicle fleet to ensure maximum availability and utilization.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, servicing, repairs, registration renewals, and insurance renewals.
• Monitor vehicle downtime and implement measures to minimize operational disruptions.
• Ensure all vehicles meet company quality and safety standards before rental.

Team Management

• Lead, supervise, and motivate operations staff, drivers, fleet coordinators, and customer service teams.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching where necessary.
• Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate manpower is available.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and adherence to company policies.

Customer Service

• Ensure customers receive professional and efficient service throughout the rental process.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Monitor service quality and implement improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with UAE traffic laws, rental regulations, insurance requirements, and company policies.
• Monitor traffic fines, Salik transactions, accident reports, and insurance claims.
• Ensure proper documentation is maintained for all rentals and fleet records.
• Implement measures to reduce operational risks and vehicle misuse.

Financial & Performance Management

• Monitor operational expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Prepare operational reports, fleet utilization reports, maintenance reports, and KPI dashboards.
• Analyze operational performance and recommend improvements.
• Work closely with the finance department regarding billing, vehicle costs, and operational budgets.

Process Improvement

• Develop and implement operational best practices.
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend automation or workflow improvements.
• Support new business initiatives and expansion plans.

• Fleet utilization percentage

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Operations management: 5 years (Preferred)

Language:

• Multilingual (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Drivers license (Preferred)
