Operations Manager (Cheque Clearing)

Responsibilities

• Maintain end-to-end supervision over payment sorting, data entry, verification, and daily administrative workflows
• Review cheques submitted by bank branches to guarantee full adherence to Hong Kong Interbank Clearing Limited (HKICL) procedures and internal risk guidelines.
• Serve as the primary liaison with external clearing entities (HKICL) and internal cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve non-standard cases
• Coordinate and track assigned operational project activities, delivering outcomes on schedule and in line with bank quality standards.
• Support the end-to-end rollout of new services and products, driving successful User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and operational readiness.
• Monitor project milestones, ensure output quality, and step in on leadership tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Business Administration or Operations related business-related discipline with relevant professional qualifications
• 1-3 years of work experience in banking operational, branch control management
• High risk awareness, solid analytical ability, independent problem-solving skills, and flexibility
• Excellent command of English and Chinese
