Operations Manager

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, lead high-performing teams, drive sales and business development initiatives, and ensure outstanding service across all business functions.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring smooth and efficient business operations.
• Oversee Front Desk, Housekeeping, Facility Operations, and other support functions.
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and service standards to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Sales & Business Development

• Drive membership sales, venue bookings, sports programs, corporate partnerships, and events.
• Identify new business opportunities and establish strategic partnerships to increase revenue.
• Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and achieve sales targets.

Events Management

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee sports tournaments, corporate events, private functions, and community activities.
• Ensure seamless event execution by coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
• Monitor event performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

People Management

• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and frontline employees to achieve operational excellence.
• Monitor employee performance, conduct regular coaching sessions, and support performance management initiatives.
• Foster a positive, customer-centric, and high-performing workplace culture.

Workforce Planning

• Prepare staff schedules based on operational requirements and forecasted business demand.
• Ensure adequate staffing while managing labor costs and productivity.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, training, and manpower planning with the HR team.

Reporting & Administration

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and performance dashboards.
• Monitor operational KPIs, sales performance, customer satisfaction, labor productivity, and expenses.
• Recommend process improvements and cost-saving initiatives to support business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience in Sports & Recreation, Hospitality, Leisure, Fitness, Events, or related industries.
• Proven experience in operations management, business development, and team leadership.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Results-driven with strong customer service orientation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and reporting tools.
• Willing to work on weekends, holidays, and shifting schedules when required.
