Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise retail staff, including hiring, training, employee orientation, and ongoing development to build a motivated and skilled team.
• Oversee daily store operations such as cash handling, cashiering, POS system management, and customer service to ensure smooth functioning.
• Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, pricing strategies, and purchasing to maximize sales and minimize loss.
• Implement effective sales management techniques by setting targets, monitoring performance metrics, and coaching team members on retail math and sales techniques.
• Coordinate shift management schedules, manage payroll processing, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
• Conduct regular managerial communication with staff to foster teamwork, address issues promptly, and promote a positive work environment.
• Utilize organizational skills to oversee bookkeeping tasks, budgeting activities, marketing initiatives, and administrative duties that support store success.

Experience

• Proven management experience in retail operations or store management with supervisory responsibilities.
• Demonstrated proficiency in negotiating with vendors and managing purchasing processes.
• Strong background in retail sales management including customer service excellence and retail industry sales team leadership.
• Experience with inventory management systems (POS systems), cashiering procedures, and stock control practices.
• Skilled in employee interviewing, training & development programs, and implementing operational improvements.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
• Basic math skills combined with excellent communication skills are essential for managing cash handling, pricing strategies, and team coordination.
