Christchurch Based****An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced operational leader to join the Construction division of a well-established national organisation.

Reporting directly to the National Manager, this pivotal leadership role will oversee a team of approximately eight Project Managers, ensuring the successful delivery of multiple contracts while driving operational performance, commercial outcomes and customer satisfaction.

This is a genuine second-in-command position, providing both strategic input and operational leadership across a diverse portfolio. The OpportunityAs Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing Project Managers, while ensuring operational excellence across all areas of service delivery. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, coaching and mentoring a team of Project Managers.
• Driving operational performance, productivity and service delivery outcomes.
• Supporting the National Manager in the execution of business strategy and growth initiatives.
• Ensuring financial targets, budgets and profitability objectives are achieved.
• Maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Developing leadership capability throughout the operational team.
• Managing risk while promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration and excellence.

• Previous experience leading leaders, including Project Managers or similar operational management roles.
