Operations Manager

About the role

8Sphere Distribution Corp. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Dagupan City, Pangasinan. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in overseeing and optimising our daily operational activities across our distribution and logistics network. As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless coordination between all operational departments, driving efficiency improvements, and maintaining the highest standards of service delivery. This role is essential to our company's success and directly impacts our ability to meet customer expectations and achieve our business objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee and manage all daily operational activities across warehousing, distribution, and logistics functions
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare detailed operational reports for senior management
• Supervise and coordinate with department heads to ensure smooth workflow and timely task completion
• Manage inventory levels, stock rotation, and warehouse organisation to optimise space utilisation
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all operational areas
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve process efficiency
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
• Train, mentor, and develop operational staff to build a high-performing team
• Control operational costs whilst maintaining quality standards and service excellence
• Respond to operational challenges and implement corrective actions as needed

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in operations management within manufacturing, distribution, or logistics sectors
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale operations and diverse teams
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software
• Excellent understanding of supply chain and logistics processes
• Demonstrated ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• Physical ability to conduct regular site inspections and walk-throughs of operational areas
