Operations Manager

About the role

MetroMart Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our leadership team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a strategic role in driving operational excellence across the organisation. As Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the business unit, ensuring that all processes, systems, and teams work together seamlessly to achieve our business objectives and deliver exceptional results.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee and manage all operational activities within the assigned business unit, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal resource utilization
• Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies, procedures, and systems to enhance productivity and reduce costs
• Lead, mentor, and supervise operational teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
• Prepare and manage operational budgets, tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics, providing regular reports to senior management
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to streamline processes and improve efficiency
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards
• Collaborate with other departments to align operational strategies with broader business goals
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure value for money
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices across operations

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management or a similar business management role
• Proven track record of successfully managing operational budgets and controlling costs
• Strong knowledge of operational processes, systems, and best practices across various industries
• Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
• Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to use operational metrics to drive decision-making
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on process optimization and efficiency improvements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across all organizational levels
• Familiarity with technology or E-commerce & Internet Retail operations is a plus
