About the role

This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing projects with the engineering team, including ship maintenance, spare parts procurement, and dry-docking refits. The position requires managing operational budgets, resource allocation, and equipment procurement while ensuring compliance with maritime regulations and HSE standards for health, safety, and environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute projects with the engineering team, including ship maintenance, spare parts procurement, and dry-docking refits
• Manage operational budgets, resource allocation, and procurement of equipment, spare parts, materials, and consumables
• Ensure work compliance with maritime regulations and HSE standards for health, safety, and environment
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, logistics, and accounting departments to ensure projects proceed according to plan and achieve objectives
• Train and evaluate operations team and engineering team members to build a culture of responsibility and continuous development
• Liaise with customers and contractors
• Resolve problems systematically and take swift action
• Prepare quotations, work orders, job acceptance forms, and related documentation
• Update job status, schedules, and customer Dropbox files
• Travel to shipyards, ports, or overseas projects as needed, including meeting new customers

About you

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Naval Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Master's degree will receive special consideration)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management in the yacht, cruise ship, offshore, or shipbuilding industry
• Leadership experience and team management capability
• Knowledge of maritime industry, safety standards, and maritime operations
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and good project management skills
• Proficient in English and Thai at an advanced level in reading, writing, and speaking
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word, email, and related software or applications
• Valid driver's license
