Job Summary

Duties

• Lead and supervise retail staff, including hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing development to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
• Manage store operations efficiently by overseeing inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to maximize sales and minimize shrinkage.
• Coordinate purchasing activities, negotiate with suppliers, and handle procurement processes to maintain optimal stock levels and cost control.
• Oversee cash handling procedures, cashiering operations, POS (Point of Sale) systems management, and payroll processing with accuracy and integrity.
• Implement employee orientation programs and conduct interviewing sessions to attract top talent aligned with company standards.
• Monitor sales performance metrics, develop sales strategies, and lead promotional activities to boost retail sales across all product categories.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and store procedures while fostering a positive work environment through effective communication and leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail management or store supervision with a strong background in sales team leadership within the retail industry.
• Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, payroll administration, bookkeeping, inventory management, and operational oversight.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
• Strong management skills with experience supervising teams in a retail setting; familiarity with POS systems and retail math is essential.
• Excellent organizational skills paired with effective time management to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
• Knowledge of merchandising techniques, pricing strategies, marketing initiatives, and inventory control practices.
• Ability to communicate clearly through managerial communication skills while maintaining high levels of customer service standards.
• Experience with wireless sales or grocery store operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Basic math proficiency combined with organizational skills ensures accurate cash handling and financial recordkeeping.

Pay: $74,325.28 - $87,467.01 per year
