Position Overview

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to oversee the company’s daily operations and ensure that all business activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing teams, improving operational processes, monitoring performance, controlling costs, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily business operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
• Develop, implement, and maintain operational policies, procedures, and SOPs.
• Monitor operational performance and ensure company targets and KPIs are achieved.
• Lead, manage, train, and develop employees across the operations team.
• Plan manpower requirements, work schedules, and resource allocation.
• Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and relevant regulations.
• Identify operational issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth business operations.
• Monitor customer service standards and resolve customer-related operational issues.
• Prepare regular operational reports for management.
• Analyse operational data and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Manage suppliers, contractors, and external service providers when required.
• Conduct regular operational reviews and performance meetings.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce wastage.
• Ensure proper maintenance of equipment, facilities, and operational resources.
• Support management in achieving business growth and strategic objectives.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant operational experience, preferably with 2–3 years in a management or supervisory position.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good knowledge of operational planning, cost control, and process improvement.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant operational management systems.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Willing to work flexible hours when required.
