• Lead and supervise retail staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
• Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities.
• Manage payroll, cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Develop and implement operational policies to ensure compliance with company standards and legal regulations.
• Conduct employee orientation sessions, interviews for new hires, and ongoing training to promote professional development.
• Monitor sales performance metrics, manage pricing strategies, and execute promotional activities to boost revenue.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Coordinate purchasing activities, inventory control, and stock management to optimize product availability.
• Supervise shift management duties, including scheduling staff shifts effectively to meet business needs.
• Utilize management skills to foster teamwork, improve operational efficiency, and support store growth initiatives.

Skills

• Proven experience in retail management or operations management with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong negotiation skills for vendor relations and purchasing negotiations.
• Excellent communication skills in both managerial communication and customer service contexts; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management software, and basic bookkeeping tools.
• Demonstrated ability in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and conducting employee orientation programs.
• Knowledge of retail industry sales techniques including merchandising, pricing strategies, and sales management.
• Skilled in budgeting, payroll processing, cash handling procedures, and inventory control practices.
• Effective team management skills with a focus on leadership development and training & development initiatives.
• Organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment; strong time management is essential.
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations such as pricing adjustments and sales analysis; phone etiquette is also important for customer interactions.
