Operations Manager

WINDSOR HARDWARE:

Windsor is a New Zealand owned and operated company specialising in architectural hardware for homes and businesses. They stock Australasia’s most comprehensive range of door, cabinet and window hardware and proudly provide the “Windsor touch” on every product, from specialty finishes to customisations.

The Windsor story began in 1984 when Founder Peter Hickmott was trying to source a handle he’d envisioned for his front door. Unable to find the perfect fit, Peter decided to employ some good old Kiwi know-how and do it himself. Using quality componentry and superior materials the result was a product that not only looked good but was built to last.

And thus Windsor was born.

THE ROLE:

Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading and continuously improving WAH's end-to-end operations from order entry through to invoicing, stock storage, distribution and production ensuring efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction. You’ll provide a forward-looking vision for the department's direction, aligned with company strategy.

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Lead warehousing, production and distribution operations.
• Drive operational efficiency, performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee inventory management, quality control and freight operations.
• Develop, mentor and lead a high-performing operations team.
• Manage operational budgets, facilities, fleet and business resources.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory requirements.

SKILL SET:

• Senior leadership experience within operations, manufacturing, logistics or supply chain environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and performance.
• Proven ability to lead teams, build capability and drive engagement.
• Experience delivering process improvements and managing change.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Sound understanding of health & safety and operational compliance requirements.

REQUIREMENTS TO SUCCEED:

Clean & Full NZ Driver’s License.

Valid work visa, permanent residency or NZ citizenship.

Satisfactory references, MOJ, Drug & Alcohol test.
