Operations Manager

Job Summary

Con Murphy's Irish Pub is looking for a capable Operations Manager to help coordinate restaurant and pub activities, guide employees, maintain service standards, and keep daily operations running efficiently across busy dining and bar periods.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate restaurant, bar, and guest-service operations throughout each shift.
• Supervise employees and provide direction during busy service periods.
• Help organize staffing, shift assignments, and coverage needs.
• Monitor service quality, food presentation, order accuracy, and guest satisfaction.
• Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Review inventory levels and communicate purchasing needs to management.
• Monitor supplies and help reduce unnecessary food and beverage waste.
• Address guest concerns and resolve service issues professionally.
• Review POS activity, cash procedures, and daily operational records.
• Maintain clean, organized dining, bar, and service areas.
• Reinforce food safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures.
• Assist with training, onboarding, and employee development.
• Support private events, brunch, late-night service, and other high-volume operations.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, pub, hospitality, or operations management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and employee-coaching abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Good understanding of restaurant and bar workflows.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy environment.
• Experience with POS systems, scheduling, inventory, or cash procedures.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Professional, dependable, and comfortable taking initiative.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and late-night shifts.

About The Company

Con Murphy's Irish Pub is a Philadelphia Irish pub located at the Windsor Suites on Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The pub offers traditional Irish and American food, breakfast and brunch, drinks, live sports, and event space. Its current schedule includes extended evening and late-night bar service, making strong day-to-day operations an important part of the guest experience.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
