Operations Manager

Job Summary

Dave's Hot Chicken is seeking an organized and hands-on Operations Manager to help oversee daily restaurant performance, support the management team, develop employees, and maintain consistent guest-service and food-quality standards. This role is suited for a leader who can manage a fast-paced restaurant while keeping operations efficient and team-focused.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and service flow.
• Lead, coach, and develop restaurant team members.
• Coordinate staffing, schedules, and shift coverage.
• Monitor guest service, order accuracy, and overall restaurant performance.
• Maintain food preparation, quality, and presentation standards.
• Monitor inventory, product availability, and supply needs.
• Review sales, labor, and operating performance with management.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and employee training.
• Handle customer concerns and service recovery professionally.
• Monitor POS transactions and cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Help control food waste and operating costs.
• Support promotional activities and high-volume service periods.
• Ensure team members follow company policies and operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and team-development skills.
• Excellent customer-service and communication abilities.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume fast-casual restaurant.
• Experience with scheduling, inventory, POS, and cash handling.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, professional, and able to lead by example.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
