Job Purpose

We are an established, industry-leading fence company with multiple branch locations across the USA. We partner with a national home improvement chain, multiple home builders and general contractors for fence installation requirements.

Learn and adopt our structured management process and complete required training. The role of the Operations Manager is to direct and manage the branch's business activities end to end: install crews, sales team, and office team and to develop and implement effective business strategies and programs. The successful candidate for this role should possess excellent communication skills, superior knowledge of business functions, exceptional budgeting and finance skills, and strong leadership qualities.

Job focus will be to learn and manage company policies, direct activities toward long-term goals and profitability, and meet or exceed KPIs for customer service, profitability, revenue, and budgets. Proficiently build, develop, and lead a professional team across sales, installation, and office that is successful in completing day-to-day work to our standards. Compensation for this position is $100,000 to $150,000 yearly with incentive components.

Primary Responsibilities

• Professionally represent the company

• Develop expertise in product knowledge, technical knowledge, industry and process knowledge in relevant product areas

• Study and learn current marketplace, competitors, and industry trends in order to identify new business and marketing opportunities and present them to the Owner

• Oversee daily business operations of the branch across install crews, sales team, and office team

• Developing and implementing growth strategies (to include managing budgets and improving revenue)

• Oversee the continued training of managers and staff across all departments

• Evaluate performance and productivity of direct reports and oversee the performance and productivity of indirect reports

• Maintain professionalism of all employees and respond immediately to employee issues and customer needs

• Interact with customers and co-workers in a pleasant and professional manner

• Address potential client queries in a timely and professional manner

• Previous fence industry experience is a plus, but not required
