About the Role

We are looking for a people-focused Operations Manager who combines strong operational expertise with strategic thinking, sound judgment, and a genuine interest in helping people succeed.

This role is ideal for an experienced operations leader who is comfortable working across multiple departments and can serve as a trusted operational partner to the company's leadership.

You will oversee business operations, drive efficiency and service quality, improve processes, and help ensure that teams are aligned with company goals and client commitments.

The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in a small to mid-sized, fast-growing environment where you may need to work across multiple functions rather than operate within a narrowly defined department.

As a key people leader, you will coach and develop managers and senior staff, support employee engagement and retention, and help build a culture where people can perform at a high level while feeling supported and valued.

This role will work closely with company leadership and will serve as a trusted right-hand operational partner, helping translate business priorities into practical execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day operations across multiple functions, ensuring efficient workflows and strong service delivery.
• Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to translate company goals into actionable operational plans.
• Develop and improve processes, systems, and workflows that increase productivity, scalability, and performance.
• Oversee operational KPIs and use data to identify performance gaps, risks, and opportunities.
• Lead, coach, and develop managers and senior staff.
• Support employee engagement, development, retention, and career growth.
• Serve as a trusted advocate for the Philippine team and help maintain a strong, people-centered company culture.
• Work across departments to identify dependencies, resolve operational issues, and improve collaboration.
• Support change management and help teams successfully adopt new processes, systems, and technologies.
• Identify emerging leaders and create pathways for professional growth and leadership development.
• Ensure client expectations and service standards are consistently met.
• Collaborate with HR on employee coaching, performance management, and escalated employee matters.
• Oversee operational workflows and effective use of systems such as ClickUp.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service quality, and resource utilization.
• Stay current on industry trends, technology, and best practices that can strengthen the organization's operations.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in operations leadership or management, ideally within an offshoring, outsourcing, professional services, accounting, technology, or similar environment.
• Experience leading multiple departments or cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing and developing managers and/or senior-level staff.
• Experience working with US-based teams, clients, or leadership.
• Strong understanding of operational strategy, process improvement, change management, and performance management.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience working in a small to mid-sized or fast-growing company where you have broad operational responsibility.
• Experience using ClickUp or similar project/task management platforms.
• Strong judgment and ability to handle sensitive employee and operational matters professionally.
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of business-critical initiatives.

Preferred Experience

• Experience as a Country Manager, Director of Operations, Head of Operations, or similar senior operations role.
• Experience serving as a direct operational partner or right-hand to a CEO or Founder.
• Experience in an offshore staffing, accounting, professional services, or technology company.
• Experience managing operations across multiple functions such as HR, Finance, Client Success, Recruitment, and Operations.
• Experience scaling processes and teams in a growing organization.
