Operations Manager

Job Summary

Lindey's is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to help oversee daily restaurant operations, team performance, guest service, and overall service efficiency. This role is suited for a hospitality professional who can lead staff, maintain high standards, and keep restaurant operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and service flow.
• Lead, coach, and support front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
• Monitor guest service and resolve operational concerns.
• Assist with employee scheduling and staffing coordination.
• Monitor inventory, ordering, and supply levels.
• Support food, beverage, and labor cost controls.
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness, safety, and service standards.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and staff training.
• Coordinate communication between kitchen, bar, and service teams.
• Review operational procedures and identify areas for improvement.
• Support opening and closing management responsibilities.
• Help maintain a professional and positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant management or hospitality leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of full-service restaurant operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with scheduling, inventory, and cost control.
• Strong customer-service and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to remain active and engaged throughout restaurant operations.

Lindey's is an established Columbus restaurant located in the historic German Village neighborhood at 169 E Beck Street. The restaurant offers upscale American dining in a historic setting with lunch, dinner, brunch, and private-event services.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
