Job Description

Action Wave Games & Events LLC is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of our games, entertainment, events, and activation projects across the UAE.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in games and events operations, with strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Candidates with an academic background in Business Administration, Operations Management, Business Management, or a related field are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage day-to-day operations of games, events, activations, and entertainment projects.
• Manage the complete operational setup and execution of events from preparation to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, vendors, technicians, staff, and internal teams.
• Supervise event staff, operators, technicians, and other operational personnel.
• Ensure all equipment, attractions, gaming systems, and event infrastructure are properly prepared and operational.
• Coordinate installation, setup, testing, operation, and dismantling of event equipment.
• Ensure projects are delivered according to agreed timelines, specifications, and operational requirements.
• Conduct site visits and coordinate venue-related requirements.
• Handle operational issues and provide quick solutions during events.
• Monitor staff performance, attendance, and deployment.
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and venue requirements.
• Prepare operational schedules, checklists, reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate logistics, transportation, equipment movement, and manpower requirements.
• Work closely with the management team on project planning and execution.
• Monitor operational costs and ensure efficient utilization of resources.
• Support the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Be available to work during weekends, evenings, and extended event hours when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of work experience in the UAE.
• Proven experience in games, events, entertainment, attractions, FECs, or similar industries.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Business Management, or a related field preferred.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Excellent organizational and coordination abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced event environment.
• UAE driving licence is preferred.
• Candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred.
