Operations Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to lead the efficient and safe operation of our plants and terminals. The role is responsible for translating business strategy into operational excellence, while driving HSSE performance, cost optimization, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement . The Operations Manager will work closely with Sales, Finance, HR, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth operations, optimize resources, manage operational risks, and support the company’s business growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Supervise Terminal Managers, ensuring strict compliance with ADCo, TIPCO, and HSSE standards while meeting ambitious KPIs.
• Performance & Cost Control: Monitor operating costs, fuel/material consumption, and maintenance budgets to drive cost-effectiveness.
• Supply Chain & Sales Alignment: Collaborate with Sales on forecasting, inventory management (raw materials/oils), and guaranteeing OTIF (On-Time In-Full) customer service.
• Project Management: Oversee terminal projects, construction, and major repairs, ensuring strict adherence to timelines, budgets, and HSE guidelines.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive operational efficiency through refined procedures, performance incentives, and strategic planning.

Qualification

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or related technical fields).
• Industry Experience: Minimum 5+ years of operational management experience within the Chemicals, Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Asphalt, or Heavy Manufacturing/Bulk Terminal industries.
• Technical Expertise: Deep working knowledge of supply chain, logistics, bulk storage planning, and industrial plant maintenance.
• Core Competencies: Exceptional leadership, strict adherence to Safety, Health, and Environment (HSSE) management systems, and a strong analytical/problem-solving mindset.
• Soft Skills: Outstanding communication, negotiation, and cross-functional teamwork abilities; fluent in English with a willingness to travel for business.

Location Flexibility:

• Primary Base: Hanoi Head Office (with regular business travel to terminals in Haiphong, Chan May, Khanh Hoa, and Go Dau).
• Alternative Bases (in order of preference): Haiphong Plant, HCMC Branch Office, or Go Dau Plant (Dong Nai) — open for exceptional candidates
