Integrity Drilling Services
About the Position
Integrity Drilling Services is seeking an organized, dependable, and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Dallas office. We provide commercial and residential water well drilling, environmental drilling, and geotechnical drilling services.
This position is responsible for managing and scheduling crews, preparing estimates, coordinating invoicing, and providing excellent client service. The ideal candidate can lead field personnel, handle multiple projects, and take ownership of getting work completed safely, efficiently, and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
Crew Management and Scheduling
Manage daily crew assignments, project schedules, and equipment allocation. Coordinate drillers, assistants, subcontractors, and support personnel to ensure each project has the resources needed. Communicate job scopes, site requirements, and expectations before mobilization. Adjust schedules as needed to address project changes, equipment issues, weather, and client priorities. Support employee training, accountability, and performance.
Estimating and Project Planning
Review bid requests, project specifications, and scopes of work to prepare accurate, timely estimates. Account for labor, equipment, materials, mobilization, subcontractors, and other project costs. Coordinate with clients to clarify requirements and identify potential challenges before work begins. Track changes in scope and prepare revised pricing or change orders when necessary.
Invoicing and Job Cost Tracking
Review daily field reports, crew time, equipment usage, and materials to ensure job records are complete and accurate. Prepare and coordinate timely client invoicing in accordance with approved estimates and contract terms. Make sure additional work is documented and billed appropriately. Monitor project costs against estimates and assist with billing questions and payment follow-up.
Client Service and Relationship Management
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the project. Respond promptly to estimate requests, scheduling needs, questions, and concerns. Provide clear updates on project progress and resolve issues professionally. Build strong relationships that support repeat business and new opportunities.
Daily Operations and Safety
Coordinate communication between the office, field crews, vendors, and company leadership. Ensure crews have the equipment, materials, and project information needed to work effectively. Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime. Reinforce company safety expectations and address operational issues promptly. Keep leadership informed of scheduling needs, staffing concerns, project performance, and client feedback.
Qualifications
- Experience managing crews, field operations, or projects in drilling, construction, or a related industry. Drilling industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience preparing estimates, reviewing job costs, and handling invoicing or related project documentation.
- Strong leadership, organization, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and solve problems.
- Proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and scheduling, estimating, or invoicing software.
What We’re Looking For
