Operations Manager

About the role

Stretch Distribution Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Naga City, Camarines Sur. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our distribution operations. As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, optimising processes, and driving operational excellence across the organisation. This role reports directly to senior management and is instrumental in achieving our strategic business objectives and maintaining our competitive edge in the distribution sector.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient business processes
• Develop and implement operational strategies and policies to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for senior management
• Manage inventory levels, warehouse operations, and logistics to optimise supply chain efficiency
• Supervise and mentor operational staff, ensuring adherence to company standards and procedures
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices
• Liaise with various departments including sales, finance, and customer service to ensure seamless operations
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to secure favourable terms
• Develop and manage operational budgets and control expenditures

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in operations management or a similar supervisory role
• Proven track record of successfully managing distribution, warehouse, or logistics operations
• Strong understanding of supply chain management and inventory control systems
• Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
• Proficiency in operational software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across departments
• Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop team members
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards relevant to the distribution industry
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiency
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs and market conditions
