What they need
NIPCAM LLC
Operations Manager
Whitewashing & Rodent Control Services | Multi-State Territory (GA / NC / TN / KY / AR)
Position Overview
NIPCAM LLC is a family-owned pest control and agricultural services company that has served the livestock industry since the 1980s, with deep roots in consulting, research, and hands-on service delivery across that industry. We're building out a new whitewashing and rodent control service line for major poultry integrators, starting with a multi-year program across several complexes in Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Arkansas.
We're looking for an Operations Manager to help lead this buildout from the ground up. This is a hands-on role — you'll start by learning the service work firsthand (whitewash application, rodent control practices, and the day-to-day realities of working on active poultry farms) before growing into hiring, training, and managing the crews who carry the program forward. Over time, the role will also represent NIPCAM to client site and management personnel, and eventually at industry trade shows and with prospective clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn whitewashing application firsthand, and build professional-level proficiency in rodent control and other pestcontrol methods used across NIPCAM's service lines
- Recruit, hire, and train quality field crew members as the program grows
- Oversee day-to-day field operations, scheduling, and logistics across a multi-state territory
- Serve as a primary point of contact with client site and management personnel, building trust and long-termrelationships
- Help establish and maintain quality and performance standards for field crews
- Represent NIPCAM at client meetings and, as the role grows, industry trade shows and with prospective clients
- Support the broader growth of NIPCAM's service offerings as new opportunities arise
What We're Looking For
- Willing and able to travel extensively across a multi-state territory, including overnight travel as needed
- Self-motivated — comfortable operating with minimal day-to-day oversight
- Adaptable — this program is being built in real time, and the role will change and grow with it
- Strong communicator — effective with the NIPCAM team internally, and equally comfortable talking with farm-level staff and client management externally
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable with hands-on, physical, outdoor work
- Willing and able to secure and maintain a pesticide applicator's license, as needed
- Leadership potential — someone who can grow into hiring, training, and directing a team
- Background in agriculture, livestock, or a related field preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred; a graduate degree is a plus — not required
- A problem-solver who takes ownership and can be trusted to represent NIPCAM well
Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience — details to discuss. This role is structured to grow in
scope and compensation as the program and the business grow, with real upside for the person who helps build it.
This is a ground-floor opportunity to help shape a new division of a family-owned business, with real room to grow as the program expands.
Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- Flexible schedule
- Paid time off
- Retirement plan
Work Location: On the road
