About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on, commercially minded Operations Manager to take ownership of operations in Abuja and support the business as its portfolio expands.

The role will initially have direct operational responsibility for a completed student accommodation property in Abuja. As additional properties within the Abuja portfolio are completed, the successful candidate will take on their operational ownership.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Founder/CEO and will be responsible for building and leading an Abuja operations team of approximately 12 as the business scales, including recruiting into the team structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of day-to-day operations at the existing Abuja property and lead the operational mobilisation of additional properties as they become operational.
• Build, recruit and lead an Abuja operations team of approximately 12 as the portfolio scales.
• Own occupancy, bookings, renewals and revenue targets across the Abuja portfolio.
• Lead local sales and marketing activities to attract and retain residents, including for newly completed properties.
• Build and maintain relationships with universities, student groups, agents and other relevant partners.
• Manage resident experience, including concerns, complaints and escalations.
• Oversee vendor management, maintenance, property standards, safety and cleanliness across Abuja properties.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to grow occupancy and revenue as the Abuja business expands.
• Provide regular reports to the Founder/CEO on operations, occupancy, revenue, team development and key challenges.
