Operations Manager

We are seeking applications for an Operations Manager in Nelson. In this position you will lead day-to-day regional operations, ensuring high standards of patient care, operational efficiency, staff development, and a positive workplace culture while partnering with national leadership to deliver consistent service excellence.

This is a permanent, part-time position of 32 hours per week.

The successful candidate will:

• Lead regional operations, ensuring high standards of patient care, service delivery, compliance, and operational performance.
• Develop, coach, and support leaders and teams to build capability, engagement, and a high-performance culture.
• Drive workforce planning, resource management, continuous improvement initiatives, and delivery of key business objectives.
• Work in conjunction with the Business Development Manager to build and maintain strong relationships with referrers, suppliers and other regional stakeholders.

• Strong people leadership and management experience, with a proven ability to coach, develop and hold teams to account.
• Strong business analytics capability, with confidence using data to inform decisions and drive measurable business outcomes.
• Strong operational and financial management skills, with the ability to deliver consistent results.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
• A collaborative, resilient, and patient-focused approach with a passion for continuous improvement.
• Experience in healthcare or a related service environment is preferred but not essential
