Operations Manager

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the delivery of kitchen manufacturing projects from planning and production through to installation, handover and close-out. You will provide clear operational leadership, ensure projects are properly planned and resourced, and coordinate teams to deliver safely, efficiently, on time and to the required quality and commercial standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage and develop the Contracts Team, setting clear priorities, responsibilities and accountability.
• Manage and deliver projects through to completion, ensuring each project is adequately planned and resourced across contracts, design, procurement, production, logistics and site installation.
• Work in close collaboration with the Production Manager to align factory capacity, materials and production priorities with project programmes and site requirements.
• Oversee project mobilisation, identifying and resolving programme, design, procurement, production and delivery risks at an early stage.
• Coordinate factory-to-site delivery, including warehousing, distribution, installation, snagging, handover and close-out across NI, ROI and UK projects.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, suppliers and internal teams, resolving issues promptly and protecting quality, programme and customer service.
• Work with commercial colleagues to monitor project costs, margins, variations, valuations and final accounts.
• Promote high standards of health and safety, quality, compliance and continuous improvement across operational activities.

Essential Criteria:

• Proven management experience within a kitchen manufacturing business.
• Demonstrable experience leading contracts or project delivery teams and managing multiple projects from mobilisation through to completion.
• Strong understanding of kitchen production planning, procurement, warehousing, logistics, installation and site delivery.
• Commercial awareness, including project cost control, margins, variations, valuations and final accounts.
• Strong leadership, planning, collaboration, communication, client management and problem-solving capability.
