VACANCY: OPERATIONS MANAGER

Emmanuel Bakeries Limited (EMB) is recruiting an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily business operations and ensure efficient coordination of the company's branches, distribution, logistics, sales support, and operational activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational activities across assigned locations.

• Ensure efficient coordination of sales, distribution, logistics, inventory, and other operational functions.

• Develop and implement processes that improve operational efficiency.

• Monitor branch and departmental performance against operational targets.

• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective measures.

• Coordinate with Sales, Finance, HR, Procurement, Logistics, and other departments.

• Monitor inventory movement and ensure proper stock accountability.

• Ensure timely distribution of products to customers and sales teams.

• Monitor the utilization and maintenance of company vehicles and operational assets.

• Review operational reports and provide recommendations to Management.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.

• Supervise and support operational teams and personnel.

• Develop strategies for reducing operational costs while maintaining service quality.

• Monitor customer service and order fulfilment processes.

• Identify operational risks and recommend preventive measures.

• Prepare regular operational performance reports for Management.

Requirements

• Minimum of B.Sc. in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.

• Masters degree is an added advantage.

• Proven experience in operations management, preferably within FMCG, distribution, logistics, retail, or a related industry.

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Strong knowledge of operational processes and performance management.

• Ability to manage multiple locations and teams.
