Operations Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
• Ensure accurate inventory management and maintain proper stock records in the warehouse system.
• Monitor stock movement, stock aging, slow-moving items, and inventory discrepancies.
• Plan and coordinate stock receiving, delivery schedules, and goods distribution to branches or customers.
• Ensure all incoming and outgoing goods are properly checked, recorded, and documented.
• Conduct regular stock counts and stocktake exercises to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Investigate stock discrepancies, damaged goods, missing items, and other inventory-related issues.
• Lead, supervise, and monitor warehouse staff to ensure productivity, discipline, and work efficiency.
• Plan manpower allocation and daily workloads according to operational requirements.
• Ensure proper warehouse organization, cleanliness, safety, and space utilization.
• Implement and maintain warehouse procedures to improve operational efficiency and reduce errors.
• Monitor warehouse equipment, company assets, and material-handling activities.
• Coordinate with the Sales, Purchasing, Administration, and Logistics departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor delivery performance and ensure goods are dispatched accurately and on time.
• Prepare and submit regular warehouse reports, including stock movement, inventory discrepancies, and operational performance.
• Identify operational issues and recommend improvements to reduce costs and improve productivity.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, warehouse safety procedures, and relevant regulations.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
