Operations Manager

Role Description

An Operations Manager oversees daily business operations, operational performance, process improvement, resource management, and cross-functional coordination while ensuring efficient service delivery, cost control, quality standards, and achievement of organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily operational activities to ensure efficient and consistent business performance.
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, processes, and performance standards.
• Monitor operational performance, productivity, service quality, costs, and key performance indicators.
• Coordinate with departments including sales, finance, HR, procurement, logistics, customer service, and administration.
• Plan and allocate resources, manpower, equipment, materials, and operational budgets effectively.
• Identify operational challenges, inefficiencies, and risks and implement appropriate solutions.
• Develop and implement process improvement, workflow optimization, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Monitor operational costs, expenses, budgets, and resource utilization.
• Ensure products, services, and operational activities meet company quality and performance standards.
• Establish and monitor operational KPIs, reports, dashboards, forecasts, and management updates.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, service providers, contractors, and other operational partners.
• Ensure timely delivery of products, services, projects, and operational requirements.
• Support business continuity, risk management, compliance, and operational contingency planning.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, industry standards, health and safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Investigate operational issues, customer concerns, service failures, and process gaps and coordinate corrective actions.
• Lead the implementation of new operational systems, technologies, and business processes.
• Prepare operational reports, performance analysis, forecasts, and recommendations for senior management.
• Lead, supervise, train, and develop operations teams to achieve performance and business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement, productivity enhancement, cost reduction, and operational excellence.
• Support senior management with operational planning, business expansion, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Management , or a related field.
• Solid experience in operations management, business operations, administration, logistics, or a related function.
• Strong experience managing teams, resources, budgets, processes, and day-to-day operations.
• Good understanding of operational planning, workflow management, process improvement, and performance management.
• Experience developing and monitoring operational KPIs, budgets, reports, and performance metrics.
• Strong knowledge of quality control, cost management, risk management, and operational compliance.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, operations management, workflow, reporting, or business management systems .
• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, operational issues, projects, and deadlines.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business operations and customer requirements.
• UAE/GCC operations or business management experience is advantageous.
• Professional, organized, accountable, adaptable, and proactive approach.
