Operations Manager

About the role

The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day operational performance of assigned businesses under Jipang Group of Companies (JGC). The role requires a hands-on manager who can work closely with department heads and support functions, identify operational problems, make timely decisions, and ensure that issues are properly resolved.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of assigned JGC businesses and ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Conduct regular site and operational inspections to ensure that company standards and procedures are being followed
• Monitor manpower deployment, staffing levels, attendance, scheduling, and operational coverage
• Coordinate with department heads to ensure that daily operational requirements are met
• Monitor service quality and customer experience and address operational concerns and complaints
• Identify operational problems and implement practical solutions
• Monitor the condition, cleanliness, readiness, and functionality of operational areas, facilities, and equipment
• Coordinate with Engineering and Maintenance regarding repairs, preventive maintenance, and facility-related concerns
• Monitor operational expenses and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and control costs
• Ensure proper implementation of company policies, SOPs, and operational standards

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field
• At least 5 years of relevant operations experience, preferably in hospitality, hotels, restaurants, leisure, or other service-oriented businesses
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial position
• Experience managing multiple departments or operational functions
• Strong understanding of day-to-day business operations and service delivery
• Strong leadership and people-management skills
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Able to work independently and make sound operational decisions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and operational reporting
