Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of our Fairfield Inn & Suites property. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of hotel management, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, efficient team performance, and optimal financial results. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, uphold hospitality standards, and cultivate a welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Duties

• Oversee all daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food services, ensuring seamless coordination across departments.
• Supervise hospitality teams by providing clear guidance, motivating staff, and managing performance to meet service standards.
• Manage hospitality operations budgets by controlling expenses, maximizing revenue opportunities, and ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
• Implement and uphold hotel guest service standards to deliver outstanding guest relations and resolve any issues promptly.
• Utilize property management systems (PMS) and hospitality reservation systems to optimize booking processes and guest data management.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and training opportunities; foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Oversee human resources functions including hiring, onboarding, training, and managing employee relations in compliance with company policies.
• Monitor hotel guest services including front desk operations, multi-line phone systems, phone etiquette, night audit procedures, and resort experience standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies; respond effectively to emergencies or incidents as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience in hospitality management or hotel operations with a strong background in overseeing daily hotel functions.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage hospitality teams effectively while promoting teamwork and high performance.
• Strong financial acumen including managing budgets, revenue management strategies, and financial operations within a hospitality setting.
• Proficiency with property management systems (PMS), hospitality reservation systems, and other property management software tools.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on delivering memorable guest experiences aligned with hotel guest service standards.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance guest interactions across diverse populations.
• Experience in human resources functions such as staffing, training, and employee development is preferred.
• Knowledge of hotel industry regulations including night audit procedures and resort standards is advantageous.
