Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager in Lipa City, Batangas. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing our logistics and manufacturing operations. As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, managing resources effectively, and driving continuous improvement across our facilities. This role is integral to our company's success and will require you to work on-site at our Lipa City, Batangas location.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational activities including production scheduling, inventory management, and logistics coordination
• Monitor and manage operational budgets, cost control measures, and resource allocation
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and safety standards
• Supervise and manage operations teams, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance productivity
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and transportation departments to streamline supply chain processes
• Report on key performance indicators and operational metrics to senior management
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service agreements
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization projects

What we're looking for

• Minimum 4 years of operations management experience in manufacturing, logistics, or transportation sectors
• Proven track record in managing operational teams and achieving performance targets
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and warehouse operations
• Experience with operational planning and resource scheduling
• Proficiency in ERP systems and manufacturing management software
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance procedures
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant productivity tools
• Preferred experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
